At the birth of the Industrial Revolution the inventors of the machinery which would eventually revolutionise the world were faced with a problem - namely who could they turn to to manufacture the new machines. The only commonly available tradesmen at the time where blacksmiths and clockmakers. It is therefore no surprise that machinery from the early part of the industrial revolution bears many similarities with the clocks of the time.  

Today William Haycock still offer design, repair and manufacture of historic machinery for museums and other organisations in the UK and the rest of Europe.

From a full size machine exact in every historical detail to a smaller, cheaper machine, to simply demonstrate a process William Haycock can research, design and manufacture the mechanisms needed for informative engaging exhibits.
